Only 13 of us this time, and a more normal number of items, but still plenty to keep us busy and well satisfied.Continue reading
There were a number of people absent this month, due to other engagements, but with our Pondersbridge friends we still mananged 17.
With 15 members present we had our usual amazing amount of stuff, including jumpers, hats, twiddlemuffs, toys and blankets, including a lovely one in autumn colours made from squares taken from cushion cover patterns.
Another very special month in the life of Stitches. Karin, a Sister on the stroke ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital came with two other staff to collect our many offerings from the year.
If last month’s Stitches was Wow!, then this month’s simply has to be WOW!!!!
This month was probably the most amazing meeting we have ever had.
I thought we had 17 people as members of Stitches, until we had one regular absent because of illness and there were still 17 knitters. So we are obviously 18 now.
